For example: if You see that hard compound has 0.58 as softness value, medium has 0.60, Soft has 0.64, etc etc, RF will load for AI drivers always the hardest compound between those with this range of softness.
And we are speaking about Dry compounds, of course. This means that is not influencing the tyre physics, but is only a value that RF takes in account to load the compound for AI drivers. You will read that this value is only for "strategic" use. Conventionally, when You take a look in a TBC file, You will see that compounds have a string with softness value. Now, in RF2, this compound problem is still present.īasically, AI drivers can run only one compound for dry, and precisely that is signed with the lower softness value. Indeed, in RF1 the tyre system was easier, since Human and Ai drivers were using both TBC files. In RF1, with the nice Plugin RFE, we could have not only all wet tyres, depending from weather, but also all the compounds reported in the TBC files.
